Rachel is new to radio, but not to broadcasting having spent 7 ½ years at the FOX affiliate in Colorado Springs. Rachel began her career at FOX21 where she worked as weekend anchor and reporter. A Colorado native, Rachel grew up in Broomfield and graduated from Colorado State University in 2006 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Rachel was part of the KXRM team awarded a national Edward R. Murrow for “Continuous Coverage” of the Waldo Canyon Fire in June of 2012, and a separate regional Edward R. Murrow for "Continuous Coverage" of the Black Forest Fire in June of 2013.
She has also covered dozens of other stories including Hurricane Ike, and the presidential elections in 2008 and 2012.
Rachel loves spending time with her husband and young son. She is a fan of all Colorado sports teams, especially the Broncos, Rockies and Rams! A self-proclaimed “girly-girl” Rachel also loves shoe shopping!
