About JILL...
Jill Jackson can be heard each weekend from 3p-8p on Saturdays and 12p-6p on Sundays on Q102.7 KBIQ (www.kbiqradio.com).
Jill is also the host of “The Dog House Show” on Podcast Radio America. PRA is a website devoted to delivery of Colorado Springs community based audio content, in other words, podcasts. Short, informative and to the point, PRA podcasts are available to you at anytime, anyplace you have an internet connection. PRA can be found online at www.podcastradioamerica.com.
Born in New Jersey, Jill headed west with her family when just ten years old. After earning her B.A. in History and Masters degree in sport administration, she fulfilled a long-time dream of being in radio after randomly talking to a DJ at KBIQ. She started her tenure in broadcasting as a producer of a local talk show on 100.7 FM KGFT and filling in for other DJs on KBIQ. She quickly was offered her own time slots and eight years later, she still enjoys every minute of it!
In addition to being a weekend DJ, Jill teaches advanced classes of U.S. History at a local high school where she has won several Teacher of the Year awards. An entrepreneur, Jill also runs her own dog training business: Canine Behavioral Specialists. She can be found online at www.trainedfamilydog.com. In her free time, (yes, she does find some) she loves hanging out with her family and her dogs, hiking, biking, riding her motorcycle and volunteering at the National Mill Dog Rescue.
